An Empty Poem

The ink on paper Are the tears which never fell, There's no me in between the lines, I am numb and cold to feel anything at all. The ailing pain of my heart, Needs no ointment. The words which meant everything, The lines once where I lived, Has no meaning at all. I am as empty as the vessel, Waiting for flowers. I was a book of brown pages, Which only a book lover would love, Oh, but it was not about book, But maybe I was a mere character, Who would pass with the turning pages. I am done hiding the tears of my eyes, I am done bearing it's pain. Oh, my heart whispers, There's no harm in love, And mind says, You may not love. I loved'em with my heart, And they never for once, Felt my presence by heart. Maybe it is true to leave the place Where your presence isn't felt. Why do I have to fight for my place, Maybe I never fit in. Maybe I never belonged there. How absurd it is, When you write a story and, You never get appreciation. I am empty as this empty poem, No words left, no emotions to laugh Or smile or cry.
