I don’t want the luxury of privacy,

Only to be caged by my own aspirations.

To stare at the evening sky, with no one in my corner.

Cursing the ambition, that no more made me sigh!

I don’t want the luxury of privacy,

Only to share my emotions with loneliness.

With no one to reply back to my giggles and sorrows,

And I pass sleepless nights asking my conscience ‘Why?’

I don’t want the luxury of privacy,

Only to feel unfulfilled, despite all the materialism I have.

When I start to hate the expensive things, I chased throughout my life

Which now made me feel more deprived and poor!

I don’t want the luxury of privacy,

Because I miss the presence of my loved-ones around.

I miss the human touch in my life,

Which is the only silver lining of the ephemeral lives we have!
