It's Already A Misty Saudade

What lives in those mosaic memories,

Of incomplete lines and omitted chapters,

Is the desiderium of a soul blinded with scars and sin?

Is there a way out of this world of words?

Or am I just lost in the harps of some untamed love songs?

There is an ire of vengeance towards,

This resin pressed love.

Hope has been the game changer,

In all the cities I lived.

I sifted through the Halloween memories,

To end up getting buried under a

Heap of torn poems and books.

Was my sonnet not as powerful as

the solitary repear?

Or was our summer love too hot for you to flee away?

As you move on by stepping into a new page,

The tales of ruby kissing sapphire

Would be stuffed into the fortune fantasies,

Of a past with no ending.

The apostrophes of those dead letters,

Were the pauses I took to breathe,

While swinging in the moments between,

Goodbyes and a new magic called "love."

My scarred heart palpitates in triple folds,

Awaiting a permanent stroke,

Before becoming a lost memory of your life.

There was no beginning to this error 404,

Neither an end to these empty lyrics.

I wish a leap year in between could ,

Fix these strings of my guitar,

And bring back the smile on my tear ladened face.

But,

It's already a Saudade,

A goodbye, a closed chapter with an open ending!
