Joy Of Independence

15th August 1947 was the day when India woke up to the life of freedom. Hence, we call it an Independence Day. Because we are no more caged, not being governed by outsiders. Is this what Independence means?

We have freed our mother India from the British, but we haven't freed her from the line of suspicions, indolence, brutality, devilry. A mother who had lost her valiant sons in a Dharm-Yudh is today witnessing her children fighting against each other.

We venerate our country as "Bharat Mata" but still a girl's life is at stake. We say that we are breathing the air of freedom, but yet we are incarcerated in a loop of conservatism! Every moment is uncertain, a minute is enough to help the tide of crime to rise!

We keep worrying about petty issues, we are bothered about other people's opinions on us, we are controlled by wretches and witches! Is it independence? The saying is correct indeed, "the inner battle is more dangerous than the outside world." Just like how we freed ourselves from the British but are unable to free ourselves from our own people and thoughts.

In spite of everything,

This day of Independence sprinkles the air of Patriotism in me!The blood of my valiant brothers runs in my veins. However bad the society and politics is, it is this day of Independence that unites the nation. We might hate and slur each other, or even stone them to death but, yet again this day of Independence acts as a gale that brings us all together and drizzles the wind of pride in us!

At the end of the Day we are always Indians and that is our identity 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳. I am the proudest to see the Tricolor flag dancing to the winds of freedom.
