May I Remember Not To Forget!
Morning Sunshine,
Care to spare three minutes before setting off to your awaiting busy day? Work will never finish anyway, so there is no harm in taking a moment to read the following divine reminders. You deserve a moment. You have earned this moment!
Find the will to forgive yourself for all the disappointments you have caused. Realize that there is no shame in trying. Take comfort in knowing that failure is a fact rather than a fear.
Persist on progressing to demonstrate your existence. Time will do the needful in rearranging the beautiful chaos you have made.
Take full control on how to spend your time. You are under no obligation to waste your energy in pleasing the irrelevant.
De-attach yourself from the senseless guilt. Let yourself off the hook for not offering a fifth chance for those who didn’t even take a millisecond in letting you down.
Leave the table when poison is being served. Exit the relationship once you find it impossible to express your views or when the other party is unwilling to communicate. There are others out there, friends and family who are more than worthy of your precious time and love to radiate positive vibes with you.
Normalize starting over!! “Never give up” does not mean to endure incoherent exasperation. Sometimes holding on to an unpromising job, a toxic friendship or an aimless relationship is considered yielding. You are giving up on the fact that you deserve better!!
Be kind and patient to your beginnings. Refrain from comparing your start to others’ achievements. Your harvest season is coming!
No more compromising when it comes to your peace of mind. Stick to your standards but remain realistic.
Seeking serenity is the new cool. Make time for yourself after work, family gatherings, or running errands. Go to the beach and sink your toes in the sand. Wait for the water to overwhelm your feet. Treat yourself by booking a spa appointment. Apply a face mask, hand mask, and feet mask while listening to “Until the last moment” symphony by “Yanni”. PS: special thanks to my ex-neighbour Bayan for introducing this addictive masterpiece.
Obey your intuition when it comes to life-altering decisions. Trust your guardian angel in directing you to what is best and you will discern that you do not need anyone's advice. The decision might hurt you for a month or a year, but you will receive the satisfaction of knowing you are on the right track.
Widen your social interaction circle. It is essential to notice the difference in terms of treatment and moral support. Surely self-motivation is sufficient, but once you experience what is it like to be surrounded by the right tribe; it is almost impossible to resettle for less.
Learn to seal your beans in a jar. There is no need to spill the beans and fully reveal your archive to others. You have already survived the fall and gracefully carried on the climb. An audience is only welcomed when you reach the top.
Proved affection over said love… always! It is alright to refuse the love they offer. Remember, the point is not being merely loved… it is the way love is shown and the amount of self-fulfilment they leave you with.
My queen tribe… carry those reminders with you while diving in life for they are your parachute which will provide you with a safe landing.
