The Golden Age

I hail from an era of eternal bliss where mirth and fellowship were at their peak
An era when abode and foliage where not at all bleak
I hail from an era when hearts were full of benevolence and verity
Not an era where minds are brimming with sabotage and ferity.
An era when magnanimity and camaraderie thrived
Time when none would think of being workshy and skive.
I hail from an era of incessant prolificacy
Time when we would believe in inner peace and legitimacy.
I hail from an era when young ones would be courteous and thoughtful.
Not an era where conscious is devious and unfaithful.
Time when relationships were conserved and venerated.
Not an era where minds are influenced and baited.
I hail from an era when hearts were full of empathy and affinity
Not an era where minds are flooded with vengeance and jealousy.
Time when creatures enjoyed right to existence.
And lived with serenity and subsistence.
Not an era where humanity is put to test time and again.
An era where offenders are not condemned.
I wish to reinstitute that jubilance and glory
Away from all the bloodshed and gory.
