Why So Distant?

Walking through the streets round the world, reading it, watching it, why there exists a dominance of inhumane all over? Can't we be close together, tarnishing away the feelings of creed? why do you repel away because of my color, even though you know you may not have that beautiful body of yours the very next moment?

We stand by each other, though not literally. boundaries exists and societies promote them. Superiority takes over and pulls us apart. Perhaps, being inhumane is too human a quality because the tendency of humans says so. We demarcate each others, though we don't need too. These boundaries are just administrative. Come let's stand on a unified land, make a world full of love, devoid of hatred and crime.

However, it is unfortunate to see the mob's refusal. I can see through their heart crystal clear, though, ironically, the clarity is pretty questionable. Tainted surface spewing hatred all around. Chambers filled with prejudice, misogyny and envy. There, deep inside the core I can see your true self-caged within the iron bars of society- weak, helpless and shattered.

What stops you from helping that poor guy sitting deep within you soul? The society may spit on you every second of your life, but believe me, love compounds over itself as you adapt it. After an instance or two, the world won't be enough to stop you.

It has been a long time since I heard your true voice growing larger. Though, I am seemingly patient. I will wait. I hope the day will come, when you and I will become one, and I'll get to sing the song of harmony, in peace. Until then, it would be hard to beat with this plain, murderous, ravenous world.
