Will This Also Be A Monody?

I always love goodbye poems,

But I can never write one for you;

You became my script,

When I almost left my Shakespearean world.

Every time I ogle at the

Motionless blue seas,

I romanticize the seasons of fall;

When the setting sun stops for me,

I sing threnodes to the winter nights.

Darling! I am too jaded to feel anything now,

Especially after knowing that Bragi

Has himself abandoned me;

With a wistful sigh ,

I ask,

"If togetherness is true?"

Or would you also join Titanic?

Will I really live in the lines of my Schmaltz Ballads?

Or are you already the soft Epilogues of my novel?

I know goodbye poems are my

Go to go ones;

For I thought love was a violence;

But trust me when I say,

I never want you to be one;

I know words create worlds,

Hence I choose to not look at you

And see poetry;

The dews of a hopeful love,

Settles on me;

But the melody of wind chimes

Can be deceptive?

I wish to relish you like the devouring sundae,

But..

The hot chocolate burning me,

Is what I am afraid of!

I wish to go on with cherry red metaphors,

To screech and wish for

"Togetherness",

Hoping that our

"Tulips don't wither away!"

Mon cheri!

Let this not be a monody please!
