Wind Chime!

You might've seen many wind chimes, but mine was different.

Clinking through the summer morning,

To welcoming the cold windy nights,

It had its own story to tell.

You might've seen many wind chimes, but mine was different.

From mournful heartbreaks which made me shed my tears in isolation,

To cheerful hugs of love which filled my life with warmth,

It had witnessed the impermanence of my human emotions.

You might've seen many wind chimes, but mine was different.

From bringing jovial smile on my toddler face,

To years later, filling my mature mind with its metaphorical music,

It had a timeless journey of its own.

You might've seen many wind chimes, but mine was different.

Hanging at one place for years,

Yet travelling beyond the horizon, through its boundless music,

It was an epitome of poetry, perspective and experience.
